What is this?

Answer to last week: That was a video game screen that apparently offers a more 3-D effect. I thought it looked like a surgical mask:

We saw this at some kind of video game event held inside the mall, where they were also giving out Jolt cola. What better way to spend a beautiful saturday afteroon than sitting in front of a computer screen in a mall while hopped up on high fructose corn syrup?
