Answer to last week: You guys were on the right track, but it is a melon slicer--sorry, Frida, it is way too big to help with an orange.

About the melon slicer; how on earth would that design work to slice a melon? Is it for honey dew only, because I guess it won´t work on a water melon? I´d love to see a videoclip on the blog with a demonstration. Until them, I will still believe it is a orange slicer. ;-)
Posted by: Frida at april 11, 2009 12:33 EMYeah, I think it is meant for just honeydew and cantaloupe, not watermelon. I think you have to cut a melon in half (or quarters), then use the device to sort of scoop out the flesh from the rind.
