While we are too far away to go to Bratfest, we did manage to find some brats here to grill up, just like at our wedding 3 years ago. Happy Anniversary to us!

When a woman is getting married here, they have a hen party--the Swedish version of a bachelorette party. While in Stockholm over the weekend, this bride-to-be (in the tiara taking the photo of my dad) was given a list of things she had to capture in a photo. One of them was a man in a red hat with a dog, something that was apparently not so easy to come by. Even though he didn't have a dog, she pounced on my dad, who was wearing a red hat (somthing he NEVER usually does...kidding), and had him hold a stuffed animal dalmation. What a good sport.

We went to a different farm this year to watch the cows being released into the fields after a long winter cooped up in the barn. For some reason the cows didn't seem as excited as last year, but we were--free cinnamon buns and cartons of organic milk for everyone!
We can't seem to find chocolate chips here. The few times that we did, they were ridiculously expensive. We've resorted to manufacturing our own.
