With help from Brotha/Uncle Jon, the workshop got some new windows. It's a nice improvement: better looking on the outside and good light & air inside. It hasn't, however, deterred The Naked Intruder.
Maximillian loves his new bus, thanks Gramoo! And don't miss the perfect 3-point turn.
Mr. Maximillian is certainly not out of the puddle jumping phase yet. Our property is up on a hill and we don't get any standing water, so after each rain Max goes puddle hunting around the neighborhood. He makes the request for such an outing by saying "pawee pawee!" while looking at us and stomping his right foot.
Max is warming up to his grandparents. He wanted to take a walk and to make sure they came along, he pulled them along by their fingers. It's kind of his standard way of saying "Come with me. Now." When his hands are full of toys, and wants to use this move, he manages to get one little pinky free (without dropping the toys), hook one of our fingers with it and start tugging.
The camera on the iPhone has some feature called HDR. I'm not sure what it's supposed to do, but when the subject is moving, the pictures sometimes come out like this:
Storytime with Maximillian and his twin brother Bucky.
Curious George got breakfast after a ride in the truck.
We found a duck in our yard this morning, which is kind of strange since there's no water around. The little man thought it was fun.
Mr. Max helps take the recycling bin back up to the house.
This picture is from a few weeks ago at Lucas & Danielle's place.
Yes, it is still fantastic in the woods outside of Gothenburg. Every bit as great as I remembered (if not better).
Wading in the Hudson River with Aunt Helene and Uncle Jon.
A quick dip in the lake after a long bike ride in the woods. It doesn't get more Swedish than this.
We decided that this would be our newest family member, instead of a little sister for Max. It's a 1967 Austin Healey Sprite, which it currently nameless (suggestions anyone?)
Max returned to daycare today after being away for two months. Here he is in the morning sharing breakfast with his pappa on the front porch swing. I hope he is doing better than his first first day.
Chasing bubbles at Danielle's 30th in Colesville NJ.
Maximillian discovers the moss on the back patio and plays with his big blue ball.
Walking the planks.
